What is the Visum Strip-Till?

The Visum Strip-Till allows the farmer to remotely monitor the presence or absence of fertilizer flow in every row of a strip-till applicator — providing precise warnings for blockages thanks to its accurate flow readings.

When there is a disruption in the metered flow, a quick alert is sent to the operator in the cab, allowing for a swift reaction and minimizing fertilizer losses and yield gaps.

Externally mounted with no hose cuts required. Long-lasting replaceable batteries eliminate the need for inter-sensor wiring across the toolbar.

STRIP-TILL APPLICATOR

Fertilizer Row-by-Row Monitoring

Strip-till machines deliver fertilizer through individual hoses to each knife row. The Visum Strip-Till mounts externally onto those hoses, monitoring the presence and flow of fertilizer in every single row in real time — no hose cuts, no wiring between sensors.

TECHNOLOGY

Relative Flow Between Sections

The Visum Strip-Till System has the capability to measure relative flow between different sections — allowing it to detect anomalies in primary runs that would be invisible with simple blockage-only detection.

By analyzing measurements from all sensors within a section, the ECU calculates the total flow and compares it to the flow of other sections. Anomalies are identified based on flow differences between rows and sections.

Sensitivity can be set to High, Medium, or Low depending on the product flow rate of your operation — ensuring the right balance between precision and false alarm prevention.
